Our youngest son is turning seven today, which is so hard for us to believe! …
Well, they say that March “comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.” Looking out our window today, the first day of Spring, I feel pretty sure that Mother Nature has confused the adorable white, fluffy lamb with the white, fluffy fur of the polar bear. No worries. I’ve got it covered. The kids and I got out the window crayons and made our own pictures of sunshine and flowers to gaze upon as we look out the window. And then we made snow ice cream, which might be the yummiest thing I’ve eaten in a long time!

It’s crazy that it was snowing just a month ago and *finally* we are enjoying some warmer weather. I do not miss the cold weather and now I really appreciate these beautiful sunny days and spring flowers!
I know! What a long and cold winter it was, but it makes us appreciate the warmer seasons that much more!
