Mulled Apple Cider Iced Tea

Mulled Apple Cider Iced Tea
Yields8 Servings
 18 oz water
 2 tbsp loose white tea leaves (or 6 white tea bags)
 32 oz apple cider
 3 cinnamon sticks
 5 whole cloves
 2 tbsp honey
 2 apples, diced

Bring water to boil in a large pot. Remove from heat. Add tea and steep for 4 minutes. Remove tea bags or leaves; press gently to release the liquid, and discard. Add apple cider to the pot, along with cinnamon sticks and cloves.

Heat until just before boiling. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add honey and stir until dissolved. Let cool completely. Stir in the apples and refrigerate tea until cold. Serve and enjoy!

Party Option: Fill champagne glasses half full with apple cider tea mixture. Top off with a dry white sparkling wine, such as Prosecco. Cheers!
