Nectarine Crisp

 4 cups nectarines, sliced (fresh, canned, or frozen will all work)
 ¾ cup whole wheat flour
 ¾ cup rolled oats
 ¾ cup coconut sugar
  cup walnuts, chopped
 3 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
 2 tbsp coconut oil

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Place the nectarine slices in the bottom of a deep dish pie plate. In a bowl, mix together the wheat flour, oats, coconut sugar and chopped walnuts. Using two knives, cut in the butter and coconut oil until the entire mixture is crumbly. Evenly sprinkle the crumb mixture on top of the nectarines.

Bake for about 30 minutes, or until fruit bubbles and top is golden brown. (This may take 5-10 minutes longer if starting with frozen fruit.) Serve with a scoop of your favorite ice cream and enjoy!
