
15 oz can pumpkin puree (or about 1 1/2 cups pureed pumpkin or squash)
1 cup soy, rice, or flax milk
½ cup frozen cranberries
½ cup pitted dates (adjust according to your desired sweetness)
2 tbsp ground flax seed
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (see below)
¼ inch fresh turmeric slice (or 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric powder)
Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice (makes 2 teaspoons total)
1 tsp ground Ceylon cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground allspice

Place all ingredients in a blender. Pulse a few times. Blend on high for several minutes until completely smooth. Test for flavor and smoothness and adjust spices and sweetness as necessary. If mixture is too thick, add more milk.
Notes: We recommend using organic ingredients whenever possible.
